A lot of people talk about fate when they talk about love. You hear all kinds of love stories, full of coincidences that don't actually seem so random. Max and Brandi’s story is a lot like that.
A 29-year career culminating in the Office of the Surgeon General started with optometry school at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ. “½ðɳÓéÀÖ was, and still is, a small school where, instead of being a number, you can become an individual," said Col. John Pyle OD '64. "I had a really good time there.â€
Ralph Watkins '08 is a free spirit. Most recently, his wandering feet and ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University teaching degree took him to Shishmaref, Alaska, where he's principal of a small preK-12 school.
Olin Blackmore ’15 is spent his senior year as involved as possible — as Student Senate President, dancer, actor and researcher — thanks to the support of the scholarships that made his ½ðɳÓéÀÖ education possible.
