Announcements
As travel begins during the winter break, your safety is our utmost concern. The university wants to remind those who do not carry a valid U.S. passport to be cognizant of potential changes to the immigration landscape in the United States. We want every member of our community to be informed and feel safe this winter break season. Please find additional information in your email, dated Dec. 11, 2024.
The Finders Keepers Free Store remains open for members of the ½ðɳÓéÀÖ community (Boxer ID required to open the door) during the Winter break. If you cleaning house before or after the holidays, donations are also accepted 24/7.
We are working toward ambitious fundraising goals to support ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University students through the Boxer Spirit Fund and Student Emergency Fund, and we could use your help!
Time Cards for the pay period from 12/15/2024 to 12/28/2024 must be updated and approved by 10 a.m. on 12/30/2024. Holiday hours should be submitted in Paycom using the Time Off Request feature at least through 12/28/2024 to be paid on 1/3/2025.
Staff Senate's Staff Professional Development Committee is hosting two wellness workshops led by ½ðɳÓéÀÖ's Mental Health Promotion and Prevention Specialist Graham Turner. The 90-minute workshops are titled Same Soup; Different Spoon: Cultivating Self-Compassionate Coping.

The ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University Symphonic Band’s spring concert will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 7:30pm in McCready Hall. The performance will be Dr. Burch-Pesses’ final concert before retiring after 30 years of teaching at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ.
Celebrate the retirement of Professor Jim Moore on April 28 at the Kathrin Cawein Gallery of Art on the ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University Forest Grove Campus.
All are welcome to join the Alumni Association for this meaningful time of reflection. Held quarterly, the Remembrance Ceremony honors our alumni and friends who have recently died.
Stop by and recharge for finals! There will be food, giveaways, crafts, therapy dogs and a llama!
