½ðɳÓéÀÖ's Staff Senate is sponsoring a hot breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, vegan sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, and tea at the All-Staff Meeting on Wed, January 22. Join your colleagues and arrive any time after 8:30 a.m. for breakfast. The meeting starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m. and will be held in person on the Hillsboro and Forest Grove campuses and on Zoom. Registration for the breakfast is required.

The Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility invites the ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University community to a special screening of Translators, hosted by the Forest Grove/Cornelius Chamber of Commerce and U.S. Bank on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, 6–8 p.m., in Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center, Forest Grove.

The Staff Senate Professional Development Committee is pleased to announce a partnership with the School of Communications and Sciences Disorders Professor Kerry Mandulak to host a three-hour workshop for employees to renew, reflect, and recharge as you enter the new year. This planning retreat will be held on Tuesday, January 28, from 4 - 7 p.m., on the Forest Grove Campus in Boxer Pause and on Zoom. It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Dr. Lucy Dubin, our beloved vice president of human resources. Dr. Dubin passed away peacefully on December 8, surrounded by her loved ones. You can honor her legacy by donating to an organization in her name.

The McCall Center for Civic Engagement at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University is looking for workshop facilitators to participate in our annual Spirit of Civic Engagement Summit, scheduled for Saturday March 15, 2025. The theme is Civic Engagement in Polarizing Times and the audience will be a select group of students, faculty/staff, and community partners engaged in service and activism in our community.
