We're excited about your future! Find opportunities for continuing undergraduate students at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University to earn scholarships for academics, interests and talents.

The following scholarships are designed to support current ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University undergraduate students as they continue their studies toward graduation. 

Each of the scholarships below has different eligibility requirements. Several are automatically awarded, but some require a separate scholarship application. Review details carefully, and contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions. Students who receive a donor-funded scholarship will be given the opportunity to express their appreciation to the scholarship donor.

 

Alumni Association Legacy Endowed Scholarship

The ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University Alumni Association Legacy Endowed Scholarship is awarded annually to students who are children or grandchildren of ½ðɳÓéÀÖ alumni and are attending ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University as an undergraduate or a student in one of ½ðɳÓéÀÖ's graduate programs. Deadline to apply is Feb. 13. 

Arthur E. Schauermann Memorial Scholarship

The Arthur E. Schauermann Memorial Scholarship is a non-renewable award given annually to graduates of Forest Grove High School who attend ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University as undergraduate or graduate/professional students. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Arts & Sciences Endowed Internship Fund Scholarship

The Arts & Sciences Endowed Internship Fund was created with the input and financial support of the College of Arts & Sciences Advisory Council (CASAC). The Council created the internship fund to provide financial support and opportunities for Arts & Sciences students seeking internship positions. Students seeking scholarships for summer and fall internships are encouraged to apply by May 15; students seeking scholarships for winter and spring internships are encouraged to apply by Oct. 15.

The Boxer 'Ohana Scholarship is for the benefit of ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University students with academic promise and demonstrated financial need who are from the state of Hawai'i. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students with junior standing and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or full time graduate students with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or equivalent. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Coral Scholarship

The Coral Scholarship assists a prospective or current undergraduate student in the ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University College of Arts & Sciences who demonstrates financial need, attained a high school grade point average of at least 3.0, or maintains a university grade point average of at least 2.5, and identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, or queer. Deadline to apply is March 1.

EC Krebs Boxer Spirit Award

The Boxer Spirit Award is available to continuing undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences based on consideration of the applicant's personal statement, academic qualifications, activities and interests, and financial need. Award amounts range from $500 to $3,000 and are for one academic year only. Boxer Spirit funds are limited; not all students submitting an application will receive an award. Continuing students may apply each spring for the following academic year.  Deadline to apply is March 1.

Golden Guard Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Golden Guard Scholarship is a renewable award of $1000 or more that is given annually to a student who is majoring in a field of study in the College of Arts and Sciences with at least a 2.5 GPA, who receives a federal Pell Grant, and who will be the first in their household to receive a four-year college degree. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Henry Kaulia Endowed Scholarship

The Henry Kaulia Endowed Scholarship provides financial support to a student with an interest in becoming an educator who is from the state of Hawai‘i, or who has one or more parents or grandparents from Hawai‘i.  An educator can be any major or minor and examples include teachers, coaches, and athletic trainers. One $1,000 award is available to a junior, a senior and an undergraduate alumnus of ½ðɳÓéÀÖ who is enrolled in a ½ðɳÓéÀÖ graduate program. Deadline to apply is March 1.

½ðɳÓéÀÖ Scholarship in Mathematics and Sciences (PSiMS)

½ðɳÓéÀÖ University will award scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students, and to returning sophomores who commit to majoring in Science or Mathematics and are planning to pursue a career in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM), including STEM education. The scholarships are awarded to students with financial need and who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and renewable amounts up to $8,000 per year are awarded to selected undergraduates.

½ðɳÓéÀÖ University Veterans Endowed Scholarship

The ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University Veterans Endowed Scholarship provides support for veterans who are in good academic standing and have demonstrated financial need. Deadline to apply is March 1.
