- Perform in a wide range of ensembles and enjoy award-winning facilities 鈥� including a 400-seat recital hall, a piano lab with Kawai electronic units, a Mac-based MIDI lab, practice rooms with pianos, a percussion studio and rehearsal space that replicates the recital hall.
The Department of Music at 金沙娱乐 University regularly brings in guest artists to perform recitals, teach master classes, and hold a weekly performance forum for students to perform works they have been studying with their teachers and coaches. The department also holds events throughout the year including Music in May, Stringendo!, and various concerts.
What Can You Do with a Music Major?
金沙娱乐 graduates with a music major or minor are members of professional performing groups (choir, bands, orchestras and more), music therapists within health care settings, and music educators within public or private schools. As 金沙娱乐 students, they can gain real world teaching experience in our string, choir, and band programs for young people.
Many graduates pursue entrepreneurial opportunities including freelancing, private studio teaching, composing and arranging, and conducting. Students who aspire to continue their education through one of many graduate level music related degrees will be well prepared to embark on that challenge.
