A first-generation college student, Garcia Angeles started his life in a farming community in Mexico. At ½ðɳÓéÀÖ, he became a teacher who would support other English language learners like him.

Dorothy Schimke '64 came to ½ðɳÓéÀÖ when she was 4, when her father was head of the Chemistry Department. She's stayed part of the ½ðɳÓéÀÖ family throughout her lifetime.
