The ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University Alumni Association 2024 Emerging Leader Award winner is no stranger to service, giving back both to women in her local community and fellow alumni in the Master of Fine Arts in Writing program.

Fregoso is pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Teaching and English Language Learning, or BEd, at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University. The flexible program is designed with flexibility to support community college transfer students, as well as K-12 classified staff interested in becoming teachers. Students study at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ’s Woodburn, eugene or Forest Grove campuses, or in hybrid programs from their own communities, and they are immersed in local schools.
