Martha Cuevas-Ramos SLP '17, who is being awarded an Emerging Leader alumni award, knows the joy on a mother's face. She helps put it there.

Lorraine Basch ‘17 has covered a lot of territory since she graduated from ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University. And she’s just getting started.

Nate Anderson '17, MAT '20 earned his undergraduate degree in exercise science at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University, then went on to earn his master of arts in teaching. "I loved the small school feel and how closely you get to work with the professors here," he said.

½ðɳÓéÀÖ University is well represented in the current Oregon legislative session, thanks to the first-time elections of a Republican senator and a Democratic representative.

Jared Kawatani '17 made his first gift on Boxer Giving Day during his senior year. He has made a gift every month since then.

Daisy Rizo '17, MSW '18 is able to combine her passion for social work with her desire to assist other Latinos.

½ðɳÓéÀÖ University Student Carissa Paige '17 discussed her experience of student-teaching at Two Rivers-Dos Rios Elementary School in Springfield, Oregon. She talked about the difference between traditional student-teaching and the opportunity she had at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University's College of Education where she could co-teach and plan lessons with the official teacher.

½ðɳÓéÀÖ alumnus DeVon Pouncey co-hosts the "Justin & DeVon" show weekday mornings on 102.9 The Game.

Hillsboro resident Claudia McClellan MAT '17 is looking forward to helping those new to the English language thrive in school.
