Lisa Story MAT '20 has wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember.

“In preschool I would read to the younger children, even though I was not yet able to read myself,” Story said.

She chose to pursue her master of arts in teaching at ��ɳ���� University to earn her teaching license.

“I chose ��ɳ���� to be fully immersed in my educational experience,” she said. “I wanted a program that would reignite my passion for teaching.”

Today, Story teaches at Tom McCall Upper Elementary School in Forest Grove.
