��ɳ���� University Choral Area presents “Hear the River Calling,” a concert designed to share a narrative that transcends both Concert Choir and Chamber Singers’ sets. Concert Choir will present a series of protest songs from America, Ukraine, and Chile demonstrating the ways community engagement in singing has frequently been utilized to demonstrate unity, strength, and solidarity among common ground. Their set concludes with a plea for peace, or shalom that leads us into Chamber Singers’ set of music which continues the narrative of how we can respond to hearing a call to action, remembering that life is most certainly not sweet, but one day, it can and will be sweet. We conclude “Hear the River Calling” with a series of music to support the journey forward toward making our individual lives, and the lives of others, improved.
