Tomorrow is the last day to register for the Staff & Faculty Bowling Night on Friday, Feb. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rainbow Lanes in Forest Grove. Pull together a team and reserve a lane or register yourself and we'll add you to a team. The game, shoes, pizza, and prizes are covered by the Staff Senate. 

��ɳ���� University is exploring opportunities for faculty and staff to connect in a casual, supportive space. These gatherings are not professional development but an opportunity for solidarity and camaraderie.

If Nonstop Health was invited to campus to provide a knowledge session to employees, would you be interested in attending? They would review how to use the Nonstop visa card, how to create claims, how to complete substantiations, etc. 

Do you know someone who is passionate about the ��ɳ���� community and enjoys connecting with others? Nominate a colleague or yourself to be a part of the ��ɳ���� University Staff Senate. There are eight openings for the 2025-27 Staff Senate term. Staff Senators have a front-row seat to learn and engage in larger decisions made at the university. Nominations are being accepted through March 14.

The Staff Senate Professional Development Committee is pleased to announce a Peace of Mind and End of Life Planning Workshop presented by The Heartwood Collective on Friday, March 14. This interactive fully remote one-hour workshop supports employees by leading them through the practicalities of end-of-life preparation while also covering how to navigate these topics with parents and older loved ones. Advanced registration is required.

We are thrilled to introduce Christina Parker as the new Catering Captain for ��ɳ���� Dining. Christina will assist with catering events and logistics on the Forest Grove and Hillsboro campuses.

Boxer Boot Camp 2025 applications are open now!

��ɳ���� University staff are invited to join their staff colleagues at the 2025 Boxer Field Day, formerly known as the All-Staff Conference, on Tuesday, June 3 on the Forest Grove Campus. Inspiring team-oriented and individual activities that are both active and non-active are in the works along with the opportunity to socialize and make new connections. More to come in the spring with registration and schedule information.
